Modern agriculture boosts productivity with fertilizer use, but this contributes to environmental burdens such as groundwater pollution, soil degradation, and negative impacts on ecosystems. Building a sustainable food system requires reducing waste, efficiently reusing resources, and adopting energy sources with lower environmental impact. We’re engaged in research on nitrogen and phosphorus dynamics, aiming to contribute to the development of eco-friendly cultivation technologies through cultivation trials of various crops.
